Emerging from Ottawa’s DIY circuit, the project centers around musician Vic, whose songwriting channels angst, vulnerability, and introspective storytelling through distorted guitars, punchy rhythms, and expressive vocals. Drawing inspiration from the emotional intensity of modern emo revival and the gritty textures of grunge and punk rock, Victor Complex crafts music that resonates with younger audiences navigating identity, mental health, and relationships.
