Kyra Daniel is a Kingston, Ontario-based singer-songwriter (sometimes listed more broadly as a rising Ontario pop/R&B artist) who began performing at a young age and gained early experience touring with the Mini Pop Kids in the early 2020s before stepping into a solo career. By 2023, she had started releasing original music such as “Like It’s Summer” and “Words Mean Something,” often working with collaborators including Jully Black and producers connected to Kuya Productions and Steve Molella. Around 2024–2025, she expanded her profile significantly through high-visibility performances, including singing national anthems for the Toronto Raptors during the NBA season and appearing on television platforms like Canada’s Got Talent, where her vocal maturity drew attention despite her young age. In 2025, she continued releasing music and developing her catalog, with tracks like “Be Free” helping define her early sound, while also being featured by outlets such as CBC and Global News for her rapid rise in the Canadian music scene.
