Eri Kosaka is a Japanese-born classical violinist recognized for her orchestral leadership and international performance career, currently serving as Assistant Principal Second Violin with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Raised and musically trained in Japan, Kosaka earned early recognition through prestigious competitions including the Japan Mozart Competition and the All Japan Student Music Competition, achievements that helped launch her professional career on the international stage. She has performed widely as both an orchestral musician and chamber artist, appearing at globally respected festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the Pacific Music Festival, the Sarasota Music Festival, and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. In addition to her orchestral role in Toronto, Kosaka has appeared as a soloist with ensembles including the San Diego Symphony, the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra.
